Barbara Lott received her Associates degree in Liberal Studies and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Kentucky State University. She earned her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Kentucky and will continue her education at the University of Central Florida.
Barbara has been teaching Mathematics since 1993 and came to Seminole Community College in 2003. Prior to joining the faculty at Seminole State, she taught at a community college in the bluegrass state of Kentucky. Barbara believes that an understanding of mathematics enhances problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Certified by the Kellogg Institute as a Developmental Education Specialist, Barbara is convinced that with dedication and effort all students can learn.
