I began teaching at Seminole State College of Florida when I moved to Florida in 1998, first as an adjunct instructor and then as a full-time employee. Before coming to Seminole State I taught in Wisconsin, Illinois, Georgia and Texas. I am a HUGE fan of Seminole State College and consider it a privilege to be teaching here. The friendly, caring atmosphere is unique.
I have two daughters. One is a lieutenant commander in the Coast Guard and teaches engineering courses at the United State Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. My other daughter is a corporate attorney in Austin, Texas. I am very proud of both of them.
In my spare time I enjoy working with my landscaping, even taking a course in landscaping design at Seminole State. I also enjoy sewing and reading.
I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin. I have also taken graduate level classes at Georgia State and University of Central Florida.
