Walter Gatti

Walter Gatti was born in New York, however was raised in central Florida and is a graduate of Melbourne High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina.  Prior to his career in education, Walter developed software for a civil engineering company.  He later obtained his graduate degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Central Florida.   

Walter began teaching for Seminole State College in 1992 as an adjunct professor.  Prior to becoming full-time at Seminole State in 2011, he had held full time positions at Valencia Community College, Daytona State College, and Bethune-Cookman University.  He has taught every class from Developmental Mathematics through Calculus, as well as Statistics,  Liberal Arts Mathematics, and Mathematics Education courses. 

Walter lives in the country with over a dozen farm animals.  In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, playing darts, and a wide variety of outdoor activities.
